For every moment of every day I wish some things to go away, yet I wish some things to stay, for every moment of every day. People say they understand this life, this master plan. Forget that notion, forget it all, better to forget than fall. For have you ever seen a world beyond mere dreams? A world, a place, an ever home a place to which is never known? For it is as I can see the world as it is meant to be, off beyond the mistful trees, for it is as I can see. Be not cautious in every turn for flames can and will always burn. Whether safe or whether not living life is all you've got. Make to it what you please, see the forest or the trees, see beyond as I know I do just be who you were meant to. For every moment of every day I wish some things to go away yet I wish some things to stay for every moment of every day. Copyright © 2006 Bradley Leonard |

So I originally titled this poem, "Where's my LSD?" However, I am currently thinking of changing the title. While you read this poem it will be no wonder as to why I titled it as I did. If you can think of great title please let me know, I am always interested in hearing about great ideas. So here it is, titleless: Time and time again I look out to the end the end of time floating by on a pony in the sky. The water green, bad to drink, water flowing from the sink. I guess, oh guess, I should run drinking water, so much fun. But run I can't, not on glue, damn those words that stick to you, and your glue, not my mess, stuck up in this dragon's nest. And I can fly, nope just fall, now I wish I could after all. But I fall, up not down wait, which way to the ground? The thump I felt, but never came shoot these ladders, screw this game. Roll the dice, but miss my face, god I really hate this place. Or maybe I really love it here, god I could really use a beer. I normally am not a sacredly cat, but walking trees and baseball bats make me wonder, now I am bread, and you thought I lost my head. Nope I'm a bird, see me fly or fall throughout this mixed up sky. Damn I’m falling yet again when will all this really end? Wait I see the falling ground, but if it’s falling where am I now? Damn this place really itches, stuck in cracks and in niches or on crack, I don't do drugs unlike Smokey, my bear skin rug Who talks to me late at night, when the sun is burning bright and leaves that dot on my eye stupid dot should die die die. Ok, great great great, it ran away, what did run, I guess I'll say, eye and pen do not mix, stupid rabbit has my tricks. I can do tricks out of my hat, there's the rabbit, now where's my cat? Now a trick I will do saw that rabbit right in two Stupid rabbit, what a mess, damn this stupid dragon's nest. I guess, I guess, I'll fly again where I land it all depends On what I came to eat that night wait 30 minutes before your flight, or drowning will possibly occur, stupid fish with all that fur. Wait a moment, this water's green, what does all this really mean? I can only think of Reston as the world to rhyme with lesson. And a lesson here we are to learn, play with matches, water burns! Matches are loads of fun like a mini burning sun! Don't be fooled that's just a stick as that rabbit stole my tricks, but the rabbit is now rabbits, he won't attempt his nasty habits well, he won't get to anymore, stupid rabbit, no where's that door. I want to go, I want to leave, like the thingy from the tree. Damn oh damn, I lost my head, bed, dread, drum, said, and red they all rhyme without the drum, drinking water, so much fun. See, drinking water, so much fun without feet I cannot run. Water flowing from the sink color green means bad to drink. And on a pony in the sky the end of time floats on by so I look out to the end time & time & time again. Copyright © 2006 Bradley Leonard |

Hmmm... I haven't posted in this thing for how long now? I don't quite know where to start with a new entry so I guess I'll start with recent things. On Friday the 27th of January, I had my surgery at approximately 5:50 p.m. that evening. Now people are going to wonder as to excatly what type of surgery I had, so I am gonna tell you. I had laser eye surgery done. Ok, now there are the people out there who are probably going on about how laser eye surgery is nothing, a piece of cake, but let me tell you how it went for me. The monday before my surgery, approx. 5 days, I had a pre-operation exam to test my eyes to see if I could even get the surgery done. The exam went well and I was scheduled in the upcoming Friday. Well, I thought it seemed a little soon, especially since I wasn't quite prepared for such an operation. Well, the following days came by quickly, though they seemed to creep along due to classes and the inability for me to think of anything else other than getting my eyes fried. So finally Friday came. I found it suprising that I was unable to call any of my friends, especially since I was freaking out. Talking with my girlfriend she offered to take me so I would not have to do it alone, which was a huge relief. When I got to the clinic I was so worried. These are the reasons why: The doctor told me that most surgeries go without complications but that about 1% of people who do the surgery never reach perfect vision, and to make it more frightening that imperfect vision could never be fixed by surgery, glasses, or contacts. Next, I was told that if the cornea heals improperly after the surgery I could damage my eye permanently and either see incorrectly for the rest of my life or be blind. The doctor then listed off tons of other things for me to worry about, to add to the fear of getting my eyes fried. So finally the moment came after sitting in the waiting room for an hour. I made my way to the back room where they put a little blue foot covers and a hair cover on my head. Now, just to note, if you have problems with eyes, I would not recommend reading any further. I laid down on the exam table where the doctor performing the surgery numbed my eyes. At that point he covered one of my eyes and proceeded to working on the first, being on my right. First the doctor tape my eyelids open for my right eye and then used a clamp to open them further. The doctor then place a round thing on my eye, which is hard to describe as I could not see all to well. Whatever it was it applied pressure to my eyes that felt akwardly weired and then made my vision go black. I think that it was the incision on my cornea. While everything was black the doctor the used something that vibrated on my eye, which I think was to clean it. After that the pressure was released and I could see again. That part actually was the most uncomfortable. Following this, my eyes was rinsed with water and then placed under the laser. The doctor at that point told me to focus on a flashing red light. Being told everything that was happening I was not suprised to hear the laser turn on. The laser did not hurt one bit and nor did I feel any pressure from it. The only discomforting thing about the laser was the smell of my eyeball being fried. And boy could you smell that eye fry. Finally, I was pulled away from under the laser where the doctor cleaned my eye, which was weird as it looked as if he was cleaning my glasses because I could not feel it on my eye. After that eye was cleaned, the clamps and tape were removed. Now, the other eye needed to be done. Each eye only took about 5 minutes to do and the laser was on the eye for less than a minute of the time. Once I was finished with the frying the doctor inserted plugs into my lower tear duct, which was weird and ticklish. When I was all done I was given my eye drops and such and sent on my way. The first five minutes after the operation I could see with a layer of fog over my eyes. I left the clinic and by the time I got to the car I could not longer open my eyes because of the discomfort. If it was not for the wonderful Ashlie I would have been screwed since I could not longer see. When I got home I tried to sleep, which wasn't easy. All in all it took about 6 hours for the discomfort to stop and for me to be able to open my eyes again. The next morning when I awoke I was suprised to see that I could SEE. I got ready quickly and went to my with 24-hour post operation exam. They told me that my eyes were healing nicely and that, after an exam, I could see 20/20 in both eyes and when my eyes worked together I could see 20/15, which kicks ass since it is better than 20/20. Happy with the results I now need to add drops to my eyes all the time. A steriod and antibotic, along with saline every 4 hours I am awake for the first week and continue with the saline every hour till my next appointment approx. 2-3 weeks from the operation. I also have limitations about what I am allowed to do and I have to where shields for my eyes when I sleep. All in all it is not too bad to have good vision without glasses or contacts, yay! So that is my lengthy detail of my surgery. I may update later but I see no point as since I stopped for the longest time, I highly doubt anyone to read this. Well, if you do COMMENT! Laters all! |

"So much" So much to dream about, so much to think, millions of thoughts into each blink. And they grow longer, sand fills their core, till those eyelids, can be held open no more. And what shall thy dream, for dreams shall come, an explosion? a wizard? or a time undone? Maybe those thoughts that rest in thy head, will take a notion then motion and follow thy into bed. Then stories will come forth some good and some bad some happy, some strange, and of course some so sad. With so much to dream about, one can't rest thy mind, for to sleep is to stop; to be left behind. So forward thy movement, forward thy dreams, forward thy hopes thy love, by whatever the means. For dreams shall come one by two, as they always will come, this ye hold true... |

I am glad to see that some people actually read my livejournal. Here are two new poems of mine for those lucky souls to read. Tell me if you enjoy them: "Maroon Night" Sometimes through the winter night cascades a maroon blizzard sight and within hope, within choices, fighting life and those voices, one can see this maroon light off throughout that winter night. Falling snow, twisting wind, where does all this end, begin? Prints of feet, frozen down upon the snow, upon the ground? Each snow flake is a tale, each their own imprinted scale, they speak and shall forevermore, they speak to speak and nothing more. And why is the winter night, blanketed by a maroon blight. Red, the snow, falling fast, it will fall, it will last. The color seen, but unknown, is the color, ash and bone. Tales come, tales go, what of this tale? not... ------------------------------ “Dead Man’s Walk” The tick and tock slowly beats, its rhyme into my head, and if I knew its meaning true, then time would never tick; but for now I just walk dead. For down that dirt made path I walk a dead man’s walk. I cannot breath nor can I leave this place of whispered hate, while the wind behind me talks. It tells me of my life, it whispers off my fate, it follows me for this eternity I just cannot escape; this place I come to hate. I condemn each step I take, yet I take those fateful steps, and with everyone it all comes undone the weaving of this world, to which I shall regret. This dead man’s path wont end, my eyes see the path go on. I can not quit nor forfeit, nor win, nor lose, nor try; as life can and can’t belong. The tick and tock to which I spoke beat on and louder grow, will it cease brining peace, upon my pulsing skull? Oh, not a soul shall know. I still ponder what they speak, and why they speak to me, there is no sense in this mess, for at least that I can concede, as I walk this eternity. As for now I leave this tale of worthless and self worth, for when it ends it comes again to another soul out there, of one of true life’s birth. So heed thy warning well, for it again I shall not tell, for when undone the world becomes time will cease its tale, and then you shall see hell. |

"Tu Hue" Step by shadows, black from blue, world fades into a crimson hue. Knowledge sought, nothing known, darkness seeps from ash and bone. So the answer is the question, failing message, lesion lesson. Yet more question, nothing more, nothing left of to abhor. Through the rain and the tears, through the rage of many years. Life's a journey, so know it well, that knowledge is a strength in hell. For two different are in turn the same, inside and outside of their name. So to know life fear it not, never quit, never stop. Fight off with last breath blue, off into that crimson hue. *** Nothing less is nothing more, nothing here and nothing for. So with nothing in and out, is what life is all about. Not this message, but the fact, now there is no way back. **************************************** "An Utter Chance" Through an utter hope of chance, people sing and people dance, people rejoice and people cry, people live, yet, others die. Now through a simple question behind mistakes, lost indecision, why is fate a fickle thing, in which people dance and people sing? And through love is loving hate, always out to amelorate... Yet these people take a chance, to sing, to love, to hold, to dance. They don't fear that mortal end, for thier fate they twist and bend, and that is the lesson taught, in hopes to live, to find to rot, but just dance, in a chance sing, to undefine everything. **************************************** And for something completely different: Things that are hard to say when you're drunk: obsession succession luxury suspicious consumption Things that are REALLY hard to say when you're drunk: condemnation microscopic confrontation platonomy spectacular Things that are down right impossible to say when you're drunk: No, of course I don't want to have sex! I think I'll go home now, it's getting late. No, I don't want anymore beer! Please don't kiss me, I don't even know you! No I couldn't possibly sing, I'd be too embarrassed! |

I thought I would give a quick update before I crash as I have been up studying for a test tomorrow. Well, as always life is GREAT!!! I found that in a months time I will be getting a raise at my job, and it kicks ass cause it will be about 4 dollars more than what I am making. I will pull about a grand a paycheck, or approximately 2 grand a month, which will kick much ass. So as one can see, that kicks ass. Pat’s birthday is coming up soon and I already know what I am getting him, amazing that I actually put thought into more than one day in advanced. So I am glad I am getting to see more of my friends, but I am soooooo happy with Ashlie right now. I don’t think I added enough o’s. Anyways, not much is going on other than that. I love Ashlie more than I ever thought I could and more than anyone I ever though I was. But I think that must be because she is a wonderful person and comeon I mean it’s Ashlie, duh! So yay for life being good. Call the cell if you ever want to hang out, oh, and Gary, sorry I have been really busy. We will find time to chill, we will dammit. So if you want to do something then call me or stop by Tyson’s Mall Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, or all three if you really want to anytime between 7:00 and 15:00 and call my cell when you get there and tell me where you are and then I will find you. So up up an AWAY!!! Oh yeah, by the way… alcohol is fun, and you know what is more fun than that… being able to buy it! I guess I never really thought that life could get this good!!! Thanks to everyone: esp. Ashlie!!! |

| Yay for Ashlie!!! I know everyone is sick of hearing about it, or maybe not since she is a wonderful person, anyways, I thought I would start this update with the one thing in my life that I love and adore more than all others. So onto other things, such as the proper way in which to kick a fluffy bunny. So life is good exclamation mark exclamation mark exclamation mark… woot! Isn’t woot such an interesting word… woot! Well, there is not much to update about over at this end, I just think that OTHER people should update their journals more often, and I can’t order them to update if I don’t. That would make me a hypocrite, and no one likes hypocrites, NOT ONE BIT. Well, I am going to go help Ashlie at work and get a whistle pop for helping out… YES, a WHISTLE POP. I love her soooo much!!! So I hope all is well with you all. Laters… Peace… | ||||||||

Ok, so here is the rundown of past, present, and ‘possible’ future events: School is school, blah. Well, not really. But as everyone who is normal knows, school can just be tiresome and an annoyance at times. But anyways, school is actually going quite well. I am coming up towards the end of my spring break and wish, oh wish, it would last longer. I have had the most amazing spring break thanks to someone I know. Ashlie and I decided that we wanted to get the hell out of dodge for a couple of days during spring break to try to relax. So after scheduling work and such we decided to head out to Harpers Ferry for a while. The trip was just awesome. I had a most amazing time and wish I could do it again. Anywho, if you want to know about the trip feel free to ask. I don’t have many pictures but I will post the ones I have later. So work is GREAT, but nowhere near as great as Ashlie. I actually HAVE and job and what is more important than that is that I… have a job… but I really like it too. It is great, so as always, if you are bored or on your way to Tysons Mall, hit me up while I am working. If you want to know when I work or even where I work at Tysons Mall, once again, ask and I will tell you. So school and work are both going well, and the EMT thing is great as always, but once again nothing is as great as Ashlie! So now onto possible future events: Well, one plausible event is that due to the Saint Patty’s Day Holiday, I will most likely get drunk tonight, but not too bad as I have work tomorrow morning (stop by and see me). Another possible event would be the covering of my hickeys before I venture to work. Tee hee hee. Not like you all needed to know that or cared for that matter. So there are other things I look forward to in the future: friends, family, Ashlie, work, and even school. So here’s a cheer for when you down that beer and may your toilet always be near! Happy St. Patrick’s Day Everyone!!! Now off to find Irish drinks for tonight… |

Time for a new update... So, I could go on about all the great things in my life, but I think I will start with the one that puts the greatest smile on my face... Ashlie! Well, she does. I love her more than anything, but since we all already know this since I won't shut up about it I will talk about the thing that comes in second place to putting a smile on my face, and that would be... I QUIT WORKING AT THE RAINFORST FUCKING CAFE!!! God, that place really annoyed me and I wanted to get a new job, much thanks to Ashlie for always being the voice of reason. So on that note: everything worked out (both extensive background checks and the drug test) and I finished filling out paperwork, so I got a new job!!! YES!!! It makes me incredibly happy to be rid of that hellhole and into a new place which seems great and can lead to many great possibilities. So yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! yay! ****************Oh yeah, and by the way, most of those yays were about Ashlie!!! YAY!!!!!! "Timeless Life" Time will always tick as so shall the morning come, but what happens when it all changes, and it all becomes undone?: To wake to a morning night, to not even wake at all, to stand, to sit, to upside-down, being right would mean to fall. Sense would stop as senseless, movement would not move, a choice with a million options, would not be allowed to choose. The sky would be walked on, as it would be the ground, silence would not pound pressure, as it would be a high-pitched sound. Air would now be water, and you could swim through the air, yet you would not need to breathe as the body would not care. A breeze would be so warming, the hot would now be cold, you would know amazing things, that were never told. Slumber would be walked on, your dreams would become real, pain would be the best pleasure that you could ever feel. All of this is nonsense so why speak another line? Yet, don't dismay the meaning, found in this deranged rhyme. *Untitled* It is at home, no way alone, no matter the stormy night. For the chill, can't match the will of love so strong, so right. Through loving ease one can breathe, and that is the message spoken. For the heart, is thus the start, and that is life's great token. So when in doubt, no need to shout, for take a calming breath, and when right, that fate filled night, the soul can truly rest. Then the sun, will timely come, and rise high without clouds to hide. And within peaceful time, no more need to rhyme, for two souls awaken side my side |

"rue" Stirring moment, one by two, blanket covered riddled rue. Time ticks on, plays its beat, life's soul and heaven's treat. Stirring from an avalanche to corral from sleep's ranch. Beeping seeps all about, inside, outside, in and out. Dimly lit on the world's plane, just so, lights gone insane. Yet outside windowed world is the sky thrown and twirled, falling down and falling fast; a thousand plays, a billion cast. Ah, snow, it looks so kind, a heavenly world; hope to find. It spins, it flies, mingles and twirls; it jumps, it falls, blankets, and swirls. It relaxes the soul, the world too, a blanket covered riddled rue. |

Yay for posts... Arg, Mondays suck! But for most people Mondays suck. I mean, it is the beginning of another week. And especially after a wonderful weekend Mondays horrifically suck. Now on the topic of wonderful weekends, I spent an amazing day out in the country near Baltimore. I got to go see Ashlie's grandparents and the extended family of her Dad's side. It was the most bestest. Her family is so great and I am happy to have had to opportunity to meet them, plus from where we were I could see Pennsylvania. It was so wonderful and it really did make me miss the country. I got to play with goats, chickens, and geese. It is soooooo nice. Ashlie accidentally got headbutted by a goat, whom won was hard to say, but I got to play EMT and make sure she was ok, go me! And I got attacked by a goose. I found it so funny. It started acting mad at me and making loud noises and then when I got closer it started to bite my legs (which didn't hurt one bit) and then I chased the geese cause they are fun to chase. They also had ducks which were raised from eggs so they were freakishly tame. So yeah, that is my ramble of a great weekend. And I also got to spend a jinormus amount of time with Ashlie, which always puts a smile on my face. She is soooo wonderful. And I saw Patrick and Nancy and Chanda and we all talked and Nancy told me some of the most amusing news I have heard in awhile. So woot, I just keep rambling. Well, I should get to bed as I have class tomorrow and if I am lucky another background check. So yay! And in reference to that background check, I got a new part-time job!!!!!! They hired me before I even interviewed with them and then they told me that I would need to do two different high-security background checks and a drug test, woot for being an EMT. After which I could start working and I would be pain around 13 dollars and hour and working 24-40 hours a week, how ever long I damn well choose. And what makes this all the better is that I get to quit the Rainforest Hell Hole...YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! So school is going well. I was starting to worry a little bit about one of my courses, but Ashlie pulled through for me and helped me study and learn all the material needed. So now I feel more smarter. So far I am getting all A's and B's, but mostly A's. So here is to keeping my grades the way they are. Rachel: I hope your weekend stays with you all week as mine will, which makes the week go by faster. But that is mainly because your mind is still in the weekend and not the present, or in my case on the floor being scoopded into my heads. So as I said earlier. Mondays suck, but when mixed into such a great time and a great life, they can barely dent the way I feel... which right now is loved, beloved, and sleepy. Sweet dreams to all and I hope happiness for everyone of my friends, everyone I love, and everyone who by chance happens to read this. Yay for her smile, and yay for her love, god, she's the person, I've always dreamed of. And if I may say, god, you sure know the way, to take a little sun from the sky, and tuck it away, into her smile and into her love, god, she's the person, I've always dreamed of. |

| I feel that I owe an update as it has been a little while. Things are going well right now. My life seems to have calmed down while still being a little hectic. As everyone should know from my last posts, I am still going to college… woot the fun! Well, sometimes it is. But, I am enjoying life right now as much as I can. I really want to quit working at the rainforest hell hole since it is a bullshit job, but before I do that I am still in the process of looking for a new part-time job. But on the subjects of jobs, I do have an interesting temporary job. It is with an Agency, which one I shall not say, and they will call me up with an assignment and give me all the details about it, and then ask me if I would like to take the assignment… no joke! I recently got employed with them and it looks like a most excellent job, but that is all I am allowed to say on that matter. So as one can see: full-time college, part-time job, temporary job, and volunteering as an EMT makes my life a wee-bit hectic, and that does not include my favorite time, which is spent with Ashlie. And speaking of her… I am so incredibly happy with Ashlie!!! I will not bring up the past but to all who know, to have her back in my life is the greatest thing I could have ever asked for or wanted. She truly makes my world spin round. So, weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Life is good, though I have not seen as much of my friends as I want to, but I will change that and start harassing them with a bombardment of phone calls. Anywhos I am off to accomplish tasks and tackle today, though it is a relatively easy day. So now to shower, shave, and get nicely dressed for a fantastic evening with Ashlie… there is nothing more I could have asked for than this. Well, except for like a billion dollars, but that is a-whole-other matter. Peace all... | ||||||||

Yay for confusion... do you understand? Tell me what you think it is about!!! "Understanding Life" Winter flame, desert ice; unknown of the chilling price. Water fails, mist succeeds; only when it truly needs. Thus is false, how-bout true; darkened sky, crimson hue. Life is this, in and out; this is what it's all about. So why speak in riddled rhyme, failing sense line after line? Think of trees, peeling bark, looking past the lightened dark. And in tales, stories made; journeys won; these won't fade. Peering, fearing, look away; sometimes shadows shall not stay. Under covers, hey undercover, luck to chuck; four-leaf clover. Needing luck, thought absurd, something though always heard. Kick the bucket, throw the hay; 'hey' or 'hay', sense flies away. Fleeting, beating, sharpened knife, quickly understanding life? So now to end, then to begin; so understanding from here within. |
